Railway transportation is an important part of social production, in order to ensure the safety of railway transportation, Modern and efficient railway rescue equipment is necessary. Railway crane is key equipment which can treat railway accident and rule out line fault. Railway crane should head for the scene of the accident quickly and carry out rescue operations, so that the losses caused by traffic accident can be reduced to minimum. Therefore, the quantity and quality of the railway crane relate to the speed and efficiency of rescue operations directly. Through the depth study on railway crane, we can improve some unreasonable factors of railway rescue crane, improve our research and manufacturing level of railway rescue crane, improve the rescue capability, and reduce the losses caused by railway traffic accident, these are of great significance.Based on study and research of various control system of domestic and foreign railway cranes, the design will achieve communication with CANbus control module. Use CoDeSys software platform to write program into EPEC2023, EPEC2024 and EPEC2038. This is a convenient method to simplify the process of debugging, and could monitor the system real-time. Make sure the crane can accomplish general tasks. In addition to improve functions, advanced level and higher reliability of the system, according to different tasks, there are many kinds of legs conditions to be employed. The control system calculates the datas taken by sensors of system to determine treatment, the operational results are sent to monitor in the room where operator work. The operator can adjust the action of crane according to the datas on the monitor real-time.The design can achieve the control function, by using CoDeSys to write program into EPEC controller of railway rescue crane. The control system is not only easy to operate, but also has detection, control, alarm functions. This greatly improves the safety performance of the railway rescue crane, and make sure the railway rescue crane can work long-term, stably and high-efficiently in harsh environment.
