Study On The Riverside Landscape Space Design In Southern China

With the development of the city modernization and the impact of the industrialize progress, the relation between human and natural environment has been paid more attention during the construction of the waterfront landscape projects in the southern China. The waterfront landscape become the most important part in the modern city because of its comprise with profuse information and create significantly society and economy worth. During the construction of waterfront landscape, the landscape designer should focus on some of the key point such as how to effective use the existing city waterfront landscape, and how to furthest develop the city waterfront landscape at the limited space, and how the contractor delivery projects under the limited budget. Therefore, the landscape designer should do more deeply research for city waterfront landscape design in the southern China city, and the more effectively construction method should be found at the end of the research.This report expound the influence of human civilization by the construction of the waterfront landscape projcets in the modern city, and the function of the waterfront landscape by used in the society system and ecosystem, and the calssification of the waterfront landscape, and the usage of design method and landscape ecology during the waterfront landscape construcion. According to the analysis of case studies between domestice and international waterfront landscape projects, the advantages and diadvantages has been pointed out in this report, such as the research of natural water in New Zealand, the waterfront landscape projects in the Parth City (Australia) and the Moon Lake Culture Park in the Wuhan City (China). The analysis of case studies focused on design methods, construction methods and impact between the human and natural environment. By the research, the key point of waterfront landscape construction in the southern China is how to inroject human culture and the waterfront landscape, and how to effective using the local culture in the waterfront landscape projects. Furthermore, the researcher pointed out the new waterfront landscape construction should include local culture landscapes. The key word of the waterfront landscape project is human, and the balance between human and waterfront landscape project. There are four principles should be complied, (1) the planning of the waterfront landscape have priority. (2) the entironment have priority. (3) the function of the waterfront landscape. (4) the history development of local cultrue. The methods has been used in the Xijiang Gallery Waterfront Landscape Project at the Gaoming region, Foshan city, China, and the Beijiang Waterfront Landscape Project at the Yinde City, China.This report is aim to found out the unification between the satisfaction of the waterfront landscape function and the construction of waterfront landscape.The result has been found at the end of this report,1. local culture and nutural environment are two key points to develop the waterfront landscape projects.2. the problems of construct waterfront landscape projects in the southern China.3.the principle of the waterfront landscape design.
