The Research On Combination Of Garden Plants In Langdscape Space

The design of space is the basis of plant landscape design. As an important element for organizing the entire landscape, the space plays an important role to show the performance effect and practical function on plant landscape. At present,however, most of the researches on designing of plant landscape space only lay stress on the aesthetic function and ecological function, which are short of the extend and deepness of the space construction function. This paper tries to study further on three aspects, as the branching habit of plants, the relationship of plant appearance and a sense of direction, and the space atmosphere formed by the different combinations among the different plants. Based on reading some papers and collecting the correlative datas, the characteristics of plant landscape space about life, exercise-induced, organic and color are raised, and the influence by visual apperceive, audio apperceive, olfaction apperceive and touch apperceive are posed also. Based on the growth and development habits of plant and plant community, the paper summarizes that the individual factors, group factors, the time factor and other factors could impact the feeling of space. Some samples picked from the city of beijing, shanghai, suzhou, hangzhou and changsha are divided into five classes including open space, half open space, covered space, perpendicularity space and closed space. By investigating on the spots, collecting the datas, liquidating and analyzing, comparing the common grounds and individualities, this paper brings forward that each plant shape has a unique nature and application design. It affects the identity and diversity of plant landscape space, and makes people have different psychological feelings. Different plant shape arrange in groups forms variety composition and garden application modus.:To discuss how to create a specific type of plant space with different plant combination, and which type of landscape feature can be applied to.Finally, the paper proposes plant landscape space should be designed to draw on the natural plant community. Landscape architect should consider reasonably about the ecological relationship between plant species, species and the environment, and the viewing habits of users. In this way, stable and efficient artificial plant community should turn into comfortable and beautiful landscape space that is made available for people with lower costs and shorter period of time.
