With development of the HVAC market, more and more air-conditioning equipment is welcomed by everyone. The related technology of air-condition and other refrigeration products is also been greatly enhanced, and the manufacturers have to seek to produce refrigeration products with low noise and low power consumption. The application of brushless DC motor can be a good solution to that problem. Differentiating with normal AC motor, DC motor has other control methods and power, the requirement of power is much more higher. Therefore, the research of DC power is now of great significance.This issue could serve for the design of DC motor control power as well as drive power. After the introduction of the status of various switching power supplies, we present the 340V PFC control DC power supply and high-precision 5V DC switch-mode power supply. Drive power supply use the FAN7527 chip, and control power use TNY255 chip. The main power supply work in the frequency of 40 kHz, while the control power supply work in the frequency of 130kHz. To protect the MOSFET, we try the soft-switching PWM techniques. We test the products for a long time. Some parameters simulate with the computer, and gives a simple simulation model feasible.FAN7527 chip is used as the Drive power. After introduction of the FAN7527 chip, then designed the inductors and MOSFET. Control power used TNY255 chip. Firstly, chip TNY255 is introduced in detail, and then detailed design parameters of the inductor and other components. At the same time to protect the chip, the RCD clamp circuit is designed.
