Research On Zengcheng Development For Urban Design

This disquisition includes four chapters. The introduction chapter discusses the present urban development of international and national and regional scenes, as to enable us to know something about the current situation.The second chapter briefly expound Zengcheng and three historical periods.From the BC201 years to 1949,zengcheng was an ordinary member of the ancient towns. During the anti-Japanese war, almost the whole city disappeared. After the founding of China, the government helped the local residents to build another city. They developed four new areas and got unprecedented scale of cities expand. After the reform and opening up, from 1978 to 1989, the pearl river delta area got the first time for development. Many cities in this period had got rapid development, but as ZengCheng is in the edge of the region, it missed the opportunity to lag and became behind other regions. From 1992 to 1994, after comrade Dengxiaoping came to Guangdong, the pearl river delta caught the second chance for development. But the pursuit of development and bad management of the major caused delay of Zengcheng and also exposed to many problems.In the beginning of new century, from 2001 to 2009, The pearl river delta got the third time to develop. This time, Zengcheng got the realization of modernization and the leap of "Zengcheng mode" brand within a few years, thank to the guangzhou east expending and the strategy of three main divisions of development and so many other planning policies,In chapter three, we focus on major strategies and important policies in the modern development of Zengcheng, including "the three main ribbon","the three big economic"," the two cities and two districts "," the park strategy "and so on.The forth chapter summarizes orderliness of the above description, in order to find out the major factors up the development of the city, and analyzed the problems of the current planning and construction. At the same time, we will try to make some suggestions to the further development of Zengcheng in contemporary position.Main objective is the improvement of City promotion, adjust of City positioning ,?Scale of cities expand and?City transformation as we look through the major law of the development of Zengcheng. And we give suggestions such as Strengthen ties with the circular city , to improve the traffic network system, a conditional accept for industry movement, to develop high technology industry, a sound legal framework for planning and construction, to improve population quality, attracting talent, the importance of building quality and ecological protection and optimization mechanism and so on.This paper is based on living, working and observations in the city for a very long time. It is the final review of survey, information consulting and systems analysis. On one hand, it amplifies the basic materials of the development of zengcheng. On the other hand, it provides a solid basis for the further research.
