Ground open floor is a form of architectural space which commonly used for high-rise residential community in Shenzhen, which is also a popular spatial form in southern China. Ground open floor, on one hand, it gives a better condition for air flows, relieves humidity and brings out the heat. On the other, open floor can provides an excellent landscape view and a comfortable living space especially for the elders and the children; also, it is a safe place to avoid sunburn and rain as well. Shenzhen is an immigrant city, people comes from different part of China. In this case, it is necessary to have a place like open floor in where residents might be able to know each other, hence, improving neighborhood relationship and create a harmonious community. Besides, open floor can relieves the psychological stress of the residents which caused by crowded high layer uptown in the city center.
