Abstract/Summary:
With the development of Science and Technology, controlled cooling becomes more and more important technology measure to improve the performance and quality of the product. And it is paid much attention to in the medium and heavy plate production areas at the present time. Combining one engineering item on controlled cooling system in some medium and heavy plate plant, a new controlled cooling platform is designed through researching the process control system.Two functions of simulation and development of program are mainly realized in this platform. The main works are as following in this paper.1. The development of the controlled cooling system at home and abroad, the system structure of the devices about controlled cooling and the theory of TMCP are summarized. Based on some Medium Plate Mill, the structure and some key techniques of the controlled cooling system are researched. The processing set-up and function about laminar cooling are introduced.2. The integrated structure on the off-line platform is described simply. On the base of studying and summarizing the correlative theories of laminar cooling and basic theory of Heat Transfer, some important mathematical models are presented. The database used in the system is analyzed and designed. The relational database and the real-time database applied in the off-line platform system are further discussed. ADO, the method of accessing database is introduced. In this paper, ADO technology is adopted to access the database.3. The software VB is adopted to design the program on this off-line cooling platform. Main HMI (human and machine interface) of cooling operation is finished by the computer software including VB, Flash and Photoshop etc. At the same time, two animation simulations which are dynamic steel moving and water spraying are designed. According to the need of the off-line cooling platform, some other functions are realized, such as the temperature trend chart and the composition table of the steel, etc. It can tell the difference between theory calculation and practice. To achieve the timeliness, accuracy and optimization of mathematical models, the HMI provides interface to link the computer software VC++.4. The design progress is summarized through a specific example. It includes background database program, some correlative program codes and some technology about the animation simulations, etc.
