HAZOP analysis is the process of hazard analysis(PHA) is one of the methods commonly used。Due to the designers’ knowledge and experience and the limitation of standard and specification of the lag effect, many chemical design can not meet the requirements of refinery production safety, in order to avoid the occurrence of disastrous accidents, prevent and avoid major production safety accidents, HAZOP analysis method has become the world recognized ensure the chemical production process is safe and effective means. In 1992, the occupational safety and Health Association of process safety management system(PSMS) provisions: all new chemical processes, all process changes to process hazards analysis,even if the process is not any change every five years to of chemical plant of an analysis, to avoid the occurrence of disastrous accidents will not.In China, the State Administration of work safety in 2011 developed AQ standard of the hazard and operability analysis(HAZOP) application guide", and officially by chemicals points Standard Review Committee of the organization, norm the implementation of HAZOP analysis from the technical level, but the standard belongs to production safety industry standards recommend, no laws and regulations explicitly require companies to process hazard analysis must be carried out, therefore, in application there are still insufficient, HAZOP Analysis of quality can not guarantee.The establishment of the HAZOP analysis method and risk matrix is discussed, the application process and the research on HAZAOP analysis method in the hydrocracking unit, and paper will has a positive significance for the domestic similar equipment.Hydrogenation cracking units of analysis in this paper had ran for nearly 20 years, which the HAZAOP has been used during after several expansion and renovation, with complex process, the process is longer,unit operation more features and risk factors of production process more,high temperature, high pressure, flammable, explosive and wax oil,naphtha, hydrogen and other materials in sulfur bearing solution,flammable and explosive. After many large scale maintenance maintenance,but hydrogenation cracking units bring the aging equipment and facilities factors such as safe operation risk. Through the HAZOP analysis of thedevice, system comprehensive identification of the process information is not complete, equipment failure, pipeline corrosion reducing thin 199 risk, and analyses the consequences of the various possible. At the same time, the existing interlock, alarm process safety protection measures were carried out to verify the effectiveness, the 83 control risk, reduce risk and improve the process module safety measures and play positive roles in the prevention of accidents or reduce the possible consequences of the accident.
