Compressed natural gas (CNG) as an effective way of energy supply, with its Environmental protection, safety and economy, has been more and more widely applied. The CNG refueling station business is also developing rapidly. Because CNG refueling station has run high operating pressure, flammability, explosibility, moving equipment and more intermittent production, vehicle and personnel access frequently features, the station’s production safety is very important. CNG refueling station in case of an accident, it will cause serious social harm and huge economic losses. This requires the use of effective hazard identification techniques CNG refueling station in potentially dangerous system analysis for the presence of danger, to find effective solutions to prevent accidents and ensure safe and stable production station. At present, various types of risk analysis techniques and methods have been more perfect and mature, more and more foreign companies recognize the importance of risk analysis and risk analysis as an important part of corporate production safety were carried out. HAZOP analysis technology with its analysis of a comprehensive, systematic, meticulous and other advantages become one of the main areas of risk analysis methods currently analysis.And the identification method is becoming many dangerous security specifications recommended applications.In this paper, the status and trends of HAZOP analysis, implementation process and the risk matrix and so on were investigated and took the first successful safety operation CNG main station of Sinopec branch (Shandong Jimo CNG refueling station) as research object. We established analytical templates for CNG refueling station in the main production engineering and equipment for system analysis.We also analysed the causes and consequences of bias occurring and put forward specific, reliable security protection measures and recommendations to reduce the analyzed risks and problems that we has assessmened. Fielding application HAZOP analysis technology, Jimo refueling station operating personnel overall security skills significantly improved and safety management taken into the higher level.2014Jimo refueling station has all kinds of three run-written manual and new increased six safety management system, eight safety rules, detect and eliminate more than100various types of hazards. Industrial accidents did not occur together and effectively ensured the safe production station, and achieved good results, but also for other CNG filling construction and safe operation of the master station provided a valuable experience.
