Ecology And Resource Conservation

This thesis mainly discusses whether the various of critical thoughts of Resource Conservation are reasonable, leads to only from ecology path about critical thinking of Resource Protection are rationality. As the result ,Resource Protection violated the three aspects of ecology laws on biodiversity (thought), Ecological complexity, Population interaction.At the beginning of the 20th century ,the Resources Protection movement is the first time to rational thought the relationship between man and nature in human history, the representative individual is Gifford Pinchot . Since then, the Resource Protection of which scientific foundation is progressive agricultural economics was booming, this moement entirly precented frontier pioneers, private capitalists and monopoly capitalists'behavior to savatage plunder for natural resources, protect the nation's interests, found the protection and management system to the natural resources by the federal government.But the Resources Protection thought appeared many environmental and economical problems.Just are these problems triggered many critical to Resource Protection by contemporary scholars, but whether these comments are reasonable, become a new question. Thus, inspired the author to write this thesis.The first part of this text is to overview the Resource Conservation. Through the investigation of Gifford Pinchot, author entirly acquaint the Resource Conservation thoughts. Resource Conservation thought to national interests for its existence, and the aim is to the premise of more long-term interests of the general public, forming a sustainable economic development mode; With the rational and scientific attitude to protect and development natural resources, the goal is to change the long-standing barbaric practices to natural resources by frontier pioneers, private capitalists and monopoly capitalists; barbaric For their thoughts foundtion is agricultural economics, apply the scientific basis of agricultural to management natural resources, the goal is to make natural resources maximum economic benefits.In the second part, inspects whether all kinds of criticism of Resources Conservation thoughts are reasonable. The author believe :(1) John Muir as a representative of the Wilderness Preservation, critical the Resource Conservation thoughts, but when Wilderness Preservation critical Resources Conservation thoughts lake of aestheticvalue in theory ,they can't get rid of utilitarianism shadow; (2) Aldo Leopold (The land of ethics) of the ecological moral judgment, but the land of ethics moral boundary has exceeded moral boundary of the Resources Conservation thoughts, so such appeal is invalid; (3) John Rodam considered Resources Conservation thoughts as a kind of Ecological consciousness, so animadverted Resources Conservation thoughts throught anthropocentrism path, but this paper thought that Resources Conservation thoughts existence foundation is for the interests of countries and the people, so negative the existence foundation of Resources Conservation thoughts is go against the historical rules, so this kind of criticism still irrational, consequeatly caused the author think over whether those criticism of Resource Conservation thoughts are rationality.The third part of this paper critique Resource Conservation thoughts from ecology path. This paper argues that Resources Conservation thoughts violated ecology basic rules in three aspects: (1) biodiversity; (2) Ecological complexity; (3) Population interaction. Since Resources Conservation movement lack of ecological knowledge guidance, established ecological order by man-made, not only did not stop the deterioration of the environment, but also cann't achieve its aim in the economic interests. Ecology answered the source of the problem by critical the scientific foundation of the Resources Conservation thoughts.
