Abstract/Summary:
Pure cotton dyed woven fabric with high count and high elastic has many advantages, such as texture plump, cloth cover smooth, frivolous and soft.This product has a well air permeability, and elegant, showily, comfortable to wear. As a high-grade shirt fabric, more and more people like to wear it, and it also has a good economic efficiency. Because of traditional spinning technology restriction, it is very difficult to spinning higher count yarn by improving mechanical precision and spinning process. So we can not get such more high-grade products. Using carrier spinning technique, the pure cotton color thread with count more than 300s/3 can be get. Due to the higher count of the thread, the performance of this thread is very poor. If we want to process it into high-grade taking fabrics, we must work hard in sizing and weaving process optimization.This subject mainly has three aspects:the first is the thread twist determination, the second is the thread performance improved optimization during sizing process, and the final is the determination of weaving process parameter.This project involves three parts:spinning, weaving and dyeing. The key of spinning parts is changing the spinning process, realizing yarn counts ultra-high and yarn performance optimization. The key of dyeing parts is the research of how to remove the PVA fiber, the dyeing technology of the thread with PVA fiber and the finishing technology which can make the fabric have a good elasticity effect. The key of weaving parts is how to realize the sizing and weaving process of 300s/3 cotton color thread smoothly after a lot of experimental.In order to developing high-grade pure cotton dyed woven fabric with high count and high elastic, at the same time cooperate the research of spinning and dyeing process, this topic discussed the different between "weaving first" and "removing first". For each stage yarn, the twist experiment is done first, then sizing and sample weaving of the thread neither removed PVA or not. After those experiments we can find out the appropriate twist of this product. Finally the experimental achievements were taken into enterprise, guiding the practice producing..The twist determination was begun from the 100s blended yarn, gradually to find a suitable twist of such yarns. Finally twist was determined about 0.5 times of the original yarn.Sizing process optimization includes the size species, concentration, ratio and the parameters choice of the single sizing machine. By comparing the performance of the thread before and after sizing, the appropriate parameters for 300s/3 pure cotton thread are as follow:size concentration is 15%, the ratio ofPVA1788 and methyl is 1:3, and sizing speed is 15 meters per minute.Weaving process includes organization chart, warp and weft density and so on. After lots of sample weaving with different organization charts, a tabby which warp density is about 800 ends per 10cm is chosen.A exploring about the 360s/3 pure cotton three-ply thread as weft yarn was going on, the plain and tabby organization charts were used. After finishing the fabric has a good elasticity effect.
