Research On The Evaluation Of Cabinet Furniture Design Based On Eye Analysis Techniques

Design evaluation of furniture appearance is scientific evaluation and analysis for the pattern,colour,texture,decorate and constitution of furniture, is also the primary means of optimizing selection for new products. Every meams of evaluation has its own unique advantage in furniture design evaluation, but still leaves much to be desired.This paper introduces cabinet furniture for the Study,integrate the eye analysis techniques into the cabinet furniture design evaluation. Participants to the cabinet furniture aesthetic assessment of eye movement data as the main content,with subjective and objectiveideas combining together,through the subjects of eye movement data and subjective evaluation of quantitative and qualitative analysis,research the design evaluation of cabinet appearance through eye movement analysis of effective indicators of evaluating furniture design.Through experimental analysis we can see that mass groups of volunteers and professional subjects in aesthetic evaluation of eye movement data exist certain differences,each has theirs distinguishable emphasis in observation. It is thus clear, design of evaluation should be to consumers as the mainstay. when the participant set a value for the surface material, color and decoration technology assessment of the cabinet furniture,the higher of the evaluation grade,the more the total fixation counts, the longer the total fixation duration. So the total fixation count and fixation duration could be used as the cabinet furniture eye effective index of assessment. Participants in the assessment, the pupil diameter and less subjective evaluation of observing objects with the same trend. When evaluating objects more, the pupil diameter cannot be used as an indicator of the eye assessment. The mean fixation duration doesn't have a similar trend to the personal assessment grade,so it could not be used as an efficient indicator of eye movement evaluation.
