In recent years,a new tendency in dye study is to develop environmentally friendly active dyes,which not only meet the need of persist-able development,but also show some new application properties.In this paper,a series of environmentally friendly active dyes were synthesized,including C.I Reactive Yellow 145,C.I Reactive Red 240,C.I Reactive Red 261,and modified products of C.I Reactive Yellow 145 and C.I Reactive Red 261.By introducing synthesized intermediate,cyanuric fluoride,into the C.I Reactive Yellow 145 and C.I Reactive Red 261 to replace the cyanuric chloride group,new reactive dyes with good fixation and leveness properties were obtained.To synthesize the intermediate and the new reactive dyes,the selection of synthesizing route and catalysts,the optimal reaction conditions,the analysis and characterization of products and the property measurements were studied.The results show that a yield of 86.4% in synthesizing the intermediate can be reached by stirring and reflowing the mixture of cyanuric chloride and xylene solution of anhydrous KF with PEG as catalyst.The C.I. Reactive Yellow 145 was synthesized by the diazotization of 1-amino-8-naphthol-4,6-disulfonic acid(A) and(3-Aminophenyl)-urea monohydrochloride(B),followed by condensation with cyanuric chloride and 3-(Hydroxyethylsulfonyl)sulfuric ester aniline. The optimal conditions are:mole ratio of A/B=1/1,reaction temperature 8℃,reaction time 70 min,pH5.5 and using reverse diazotization.The C.I.Reactive Red 261 and C.I.Reactive Red 240 were synthesized by the condensation of 1-amino-8-naphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid and cyanuric chloride,followed by coupling with diazotate of Aniline(2-Aminobenzenesultbnic) and condensation with 4-(-Hydroxyethylsulfonyl)sulfuric ester aniline.The fixation of the modified reactive dyes.which was synthesized by replacing the cyanuric chloride with cyanuric fluoride,increases by 10-15%and the total fixation reaches 80-95%in the case of low salinity,low alkalinity,and low rate of mass to be dyed to the dye solution.
