Studies On The Entironmental Governance Of Rural-urban Continuum In The Process Of Urbanization

In recent years, with the deepening of reform and opening up, China's urbanization is increasingly rise. The rural-urban continuum grows up quickly, and become a new highlight in the progress of urbanization. Rural-urban continuum, as "the head of the country and the tail of the city", is an important link between city and country. It not only has powerfully pushed the process of urbanization, but also has played a positive role in optimizing the economic structure, decreasing the differences between city and countryside, and promoting the social overall progress. But at the same time, under the dual influence of suburbanization and rural urbanization, the entironment problem is becoming prominent day by day, and gradually restricts the development of economic and social mightily both at city and countryside. The entironment at rural-urban continuum not only has respect to living security of local residents and the whole image of the city, but also related to sustainable development and the construction of harmonious socialist society. Therefore, to attach importance to and solve the entironment problem of rural-urban continuum, is an inevitable requirement of the economic and social healthy development both in rural-urban continuum and the whole city and country.First of all, this paper introduces the background and significance, defines the concept of rural-urban continuum and related notion, and reviews the research on urbanization and entironmental governance at rural-urban continuum by domestic and overseas scholars; then take Wutian Street in Ou'hai District Wenzhou City as an example, describes current situation of entironment at rural-urban continuum by direct observation and depth interviews, and on this basis, makes a comparative study on polluter between city and country, and explore the causes of the entironment problem; at last, on the basis of exploring the case, elaborate the predicament in the process of entironmental governance at rural-urban continuum, and table a feasible path to administer entironment at rural-urban continuum.
