The Composing Factors Of Stripe Of Clothing Design

This paper studies the application and development of stripe in clothing design; analyzes on aims, ideas and innovations of this subject; specifies the historic and national characteristics of striped clothing; expounded three aspects (pattern, color, three-dimensions) of stripes and it's composing effect in clothing design; sums up the format of stripes on a variety of materials, process approach and modified design rules. Combining the visual sense and considering tidiness, rhythm, body, structure, art, this paper points out that stripe patterns designing should follows the rules: simple structure, matching colors, similar materials. This paper also offers the new approach of stripe patterns designing and its limited means, and sums up the variety of stripe appearances such as the diversity of styles in fashion, the position shift in sportswear, casual wear as well as in children's wears.By studying the composing factors of stripes in clothing design, this paper enriches the performance of fashion design, and hopes to provide a clear idea of creation for clothing design and application.
