Study On The Dyeing Process Of Food Pigment On Hair And Cotton Fabric

With excellent environment compatibility and dyeing properties, food pigments are not only used for food coloration. They can also be used to other coloration. In this research we will study the dyeing process of using food pigment to dye hair and cotton fabric. Hair dying research includes the research of hair blanching method, hair dyeing method and performance test for the dyed hair. Cotton fabric dying research includes the research of rare-earth mordanting, chitosan pretreatment, cationic modification and dying mechanism.The hair will be bright and colorful after food pigment dyeing, the fastness is situated between permanence and semi-permanent hair dye, the hair intensity loses slighter, so it can attain good balance in various aspects.In cotton dying, we obtained low fastness from rare-earth mordanting and chitosan pretreatment method, so it is unable to apply them in production. However, cationic modification produce both well dyeing depth and well fastness, which is safety, conveniencethe. Because of high dye-uptake, puring residue can be very easy. Cationic modification is a kind of effective, economy and cleanly dying method.
