Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as a major fuel has a wide range of applications in people's lives and industrial production. However, containing sulphur in LPG seriously affects not only the use of itself but also the whole environment. Therefore, the technical problems accompanied by desulfurization should not be overlooked. According to the project of Daqing Oilfield Fine Chemical Factory 80,000 tons desulfurization, this paper completed the part of design of the absorption tower, focusing on the application of cellular grid-FG Alexandra fill.This study, based on the understanding of the desulfurization technology development, explained the structure of FG-cellular grid-shan fill. Again, through the actual engineering design, it has come to the performance of its superiority of the porosity, the ratio of the big load , handling large capacity, reducing pressure, high efficiency in transfer: Regarding to porosity, it can reach more than 95 percent and it is not easy to plug; the big load of the tower, is about 1.5 times bigger than sieve tower, up to 60-80 m3 / m2h; each plate height of 1.5 ~ 2.0 m will significantly low the actual height of the tower; with the burr on the surface, FG strengthening the filler can clarify separation, combined with reduced role; it can also handle large capacity, reduce pressure, increase the efficiency of transfer; in the same capacity, It could narrow the tower diameter, lower the investment and narrow the room occupied...
