According to removal of emulsified disulfide in caustic solution in sweetening process of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), first proves that the desorption process is not suitable, then with naphtha as extraction agent, with dithioether as simulation disulfide, adopt the method of static extraction, removal disulfide in lye. Study on the feasibility of naphtha extract dithioether in lye and naphtha and dithioether in lye volume ratio, extraction times, NaOH content in lye, Naphtha cycle times, dithioether content in lye and other factors that affect the extraction efficiency. The experimental results show that, the initial content of dithioether in lye (w) between 0.25% to 1.00%, naphtha as the extractant can extract dithioether completely; optimum extraction conditions:V(naphtha):V(lye)=1:1, lye content (w) is between 7% to 15%, one time extraction, in this condition, dithioether content in lye can reduce to less than 11.23 × 10-6(w). Naphtha is suitable for use once.
