KonGyn Knitting Factory-Research Of Using 6σ Quality Management

With the acceleration of globalization and economic integration, textile enterprises have merged into international market. To get an advantageous position in the fierce international market, importance should be attached to enterprises'quality of products, especially to the utilization of methods of quality management and quality control in the process of production.6σmanagement is an effective method of quality management on the production site. On the basis of detailed and complete measurement and record of quality property of products or processes, it makes full use of statistical tools various kinds of methods of quality control and improvement in order to keep the number of disqualified products or process within the corresponding standards. In particular, the advanced conception of"zero defects", popular in the western advanced countries, produces distinctive results in guaranteeing the quality of work, processes and products.This article at first analyzes the possibility of improving the system of quality management in the KonGyn Knitting Factory by using 6σquality management. Focused on the data and information about the quality of products, it points out the imperfection of the production process and makes suggestions for improvement. At last, it analyzes the performance improvement after our enterprise has applied 6σquality management and builds up the continuous improvement system.
