On Fostering The Public' Awareness Of Conservation Culture

The world now is confronted with the danger of global ecological crisis, the severe test of ecological environment. On reconsidering the relationship between man and nature, the concept of conservation culture is thus put forward.. The conservation culture contains not only the fine ecological environment, sustainable economic developing modes and perfect ecological system, but also better awareness of conservation, which plays a very important role in the conservation culture system.From the height of human civilization development, this paper discusses that conservation culture is the inevitable trend and requirements in the development of human civilization. Based on that, the thesis focuses on the discussion and research of fostering the awareness of conservation, which includes its significance, contents and the ways and methods for fostering the awareness of conservation.On the basis of my own understanding, the significance of fostering the awareness of conservation is expounded from the following three perspectives. To foster the awareness of conservation is the demand for the improvement of citizens'civilization and the promotion of human beings'all-round development. It is a fundamental project of establishing conservation culture, and is the only way of building modern socialism in our country. As the following, the contents of conservation awareness are presented, including the awareness of production, service, consumption and population. The article further discusses in details the ways and methods for fostering the awareness of conservation. To foster the awareness of conservation is mainly the responsibility as well as the duty of the government. Meanwhile, It is very necessary for the government to arouse the enthusiams of schools and families while enhancing citizens'awareness. What's more, the function of news media and cultural departments should be brought into full play.The Seventeenth National Congress calls for the construction of conservation culture, rendering"the concepts of conservation culture deeply rooted in the whole society". Under this big background, The author hopes that through the above discussion, it means to deepen people'understanding and concern for conservation culture, raise the public's conservation awareness, and on the other hand, to provide some methods of forstering consevation awareness for references.
