| The injurant emitted from the wood-based furniture, especially the emission of formaldehyde, has become the main complaint and catholic concern. The purpose of the study is analyzing the influence of different methods on the emission of formaldehyde so that gain an non-destructive, more reasonable method. Depending on the researching analysis of iujurant testing methods at home and abroad, bring in environmental test chamber method to test in integrated way. Adopting desiccator method, perforator method and environmental test chamber method to analyze their merits and demerits. The conclusion are listed as follows:(1) Environmental test chamber method is used to test the furniture as a whole, so its result can accurately reflect the real condition of injurnt emission and the emission trend. It is non-destructive to the furniture. Otherwise the other two methods'testing object is the sample fraction from the furniture, the results is less reliable.(2) Environmental test chamber method considers the environmental index and is carried in the closed environment, the result of which is less influenced by the other conditions. While the deviation of the results of three sample groups by desiccator is 11.7%, which means that the store time has influence on the result, and the result of perforator is influenced by the moisture of the sample.(3)By adopting chamber method, the emission formaldehyde is a"nature emission"rather than the"non-nature emission"by using perforator method, so that the result of the latter method is often higher than the real value.(4) By adopting chamber method, the result represent the Formaldehyde concentration per cubit meter, mg/ m3, as same as the unit of indoor air quality. The tested emission of formaldehyde of melamine board in this test is 0.018mg/m3(<0.10mg/m3). In this way, environmental test chamber method can descript the influence of the furniture on the indoor air quality. |
