Study On The Iron Making Processes And Construction Techniques Of The 2~# And 3~# Blast Furnaces In Anshan Iron & Steel Group Co.

Anshan Iron & Steel Group Co (AISC) has been highly challenged on the matter of facts of high energy consumption and the low additional value of the production by not only domestic but also international markets,after China joined into WTO.Iron and steel companies belong to traditional industries------high costand energy consumption.They could hardly survive in the highly competitive markets without the supports of the optimized products structure as well as a certain scale of production. Within these 10 years since 1997,the contributions of rebuilt projects in AISC are 80% of its equipments belong to international advanced level; 80% of its productions with high additional value are able to compete in the international markets. 1700 plate and sheet continuous casting and rolling (ASP) roller,special techniques developed in house, is the good example of the rebuilt productions with high techniques, good economic yield and wide potential markets.The authorities of these techniques allow the output of these techniques and bring the exportations of sets of the equipments.In the projects of 500t West Zone AISC,it is important to use the new production processes,which allow the long life of blast furnaces,low costs of the iron casting and friendly environment.All technique criterions of the 2~#and 3 blast furnaces reach the international advanced levels.The investigation of the ironmaking processes and the construction techniques of the main body of the blast furnaces are detailed in this thesis. It shows that the systemic organization and new techniques of construction processes lead the high quality of the blast furnaces, which make the casting processes over the international advanced level.
