The Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR) which is combined membrane separation technology and biological treatment technology has lots of advantages, such as good effluent, less space occupancy, little excess sludge, high automatic control, simple operation, and low operating costs et al. In these years, with the developing of material science, the manufacture cost of membrane is lower and the technology of membrane has improved rapidly.In the paper, MBR with PAC research on treatment of domestic wastewater from primary MBR treatment was carried out for secondary effluent. During the operation, the removal efficiencies of pollutants and the main facts effect on performance of MBR-PAC reactor were investigated, the membrane fouling and wash in the process were discussed, and the economy of technology were initial analyzed.The main results showed that:1.The results in MBR showed that BOD5≤7mg/L,COD≤30mg/L,NH4+-N≤1mg/L and turbidity≤0.2NTU.The results about MBR-PAC showed that BOD5≤4mg/L,COD≤20mg/L,NH4+-N≤0.3mg/L and turbidity≤0.1NTU.MBR-PAC demonstrated a more excellent quality of outlet water and had stronger shock load.2. The casting PAC can adsorb and degrade some substances which cause membrane fouling, improve the structure of the sludge floc and the filtration character, and decrease membrane pollution. The air wash and backwash with the outlet could maintain high flux in a long time. And membrane flux could be recovered mainly with chemical cleaning.3. Economic analysis indicates that the project investment is 5 225 yuan/m3·d and the running expenditure is 1.613 yuan/m3. It has promising application foreground. |
