The Hybrid Submerged Membrane Bioreactor (HSMBR) which is combined membrane separation technology and Hybrid Bioreactor has lots of advantages, such as good effluent, relievering membrane fouling, less space occupancy, simple operation, and low operating costs et al.In the paper, the HSMBR with floating carrier research on the further wastewater treatment was carried out from SMBR treatment.During the operation, the removal efficiencies of pollutants and the main facts effect on performance of HSMBR reactor were studied, the membrane fouling and washing in the process were discussed, and the economy of technology were initial analyzed. The results of lab tests operation conditions indicated that:①HSMBR has high remove efficiency and the quality of treated water is stabilized.It showed that BOD5≤5mg/L,CODcr≤20mg/L,NH4+-N≤0.3mg/L and turbidity <0.2NTU, which meets the demands of reclaimed water reuse.②Long-term operation showed similar removal of BOD5,NH3-N,TP and turbidity for both HSMBR and SMBR. But the removal of CODcr and TN in HSMBR was more effective than that in SMBR.The 12% of CODcr removed in HSMBR is more than that in SMBR, The 16% of TN removed in HSMBR is more than that in SMBR.③HSMBR had the better optimum operation conditions: HRT4 h, the padding fills rate 45%, MLSS about 4000 mg/L, DO 2.5mg/L.④The HSMBR and SMBR system were operated intermittently with the suction pump working but without backwashing for 40 day and 32 day.It indicated that floating carrier can reliever membrane fouling.⑤In conclusion, the project investment is 5 225 yuan/m3·d, the operation cost is 1.83 yuan per ton , It has promising application foreground.
