And direct against the actual conditions of Jiangyin city , have estimated the water pollution economic losses caused of influence in 6 respects , such as industry, agriculture , fishery , health and ecological view and sudden economic losses caused of water pollution.Studies have shown: The economy that Jiangyin city causes by the water pollution will be about 1,500 million yuan in 2004, accounts for about 2.4% of GDP in that year among them the economy that the influence on the health of the water pollution caused lost the most, this is mainly because Jiangyin city is close to the Changjiang River, the majority of water for industrial use is coming to the Changjiang River directly, making the influence on industry of the water pollution smaller, this relatively conforms with the local situation. On the basis of analysing result estimated finally, direct against the question of the water pollution of Jiangyin city, have put forward the countermeasure measure of controlling and reducing the water pollution , reducing the economic losses.
