| "Acid rain" is one of the three most important global environmental problems, which is very harmful and mostly caused by SO2. Therefore, it is imperative to control SO2 pollution.As one of SO2.pollution control technologies, FGD by carbon material can not only prevent pollution but also can reclaim resource and thereby has a bright prospect. In this paper, honeycomb activated carbon (HAC) was prepared from wastes of producing furfural, it was an innovation.Using raw material including industrial furfural residue, CMC, phenolic resin ,clay and oil, HAC could be prepared in experiment, the optimal carbonization and activation conditions and the influences of single factor were explored, at the same time, the FGD process parameters and hydrodynamics performance of HAC were studied and the physical and chemical characteristics of HAC were described by means of modern test technologies such as XPS,FIR, SEM and N2 adsorption at low temperature.The results can be concluded as follows:(1) Using furfural residue as raw material, the influence of activation temperatures and activation time on HAC product were discussed. When activation temperatures were between 700℃ and 900℃ and activation time was between 30min and 150min, as adding activation temperature and prolonging activation time, the remain-rate declined and the iodine adsorption added, when activation temperature was 1173K, activation time was 120min, the iodine adsorption added up to 717.58mg/g.(2) The overall optimal conditions in experiments were that carbonization temperature was 823K, carbonization time was 60min, activation temperature was 1153K, activation time was 60min and CO2 flux was 150 mL/min. |
