Flos Lonicerae is the dry flower of the plant of Lonicera japonica Thunb, Lonicera hypoglauca Miq, Lonicera Confusa DC and Loniceradasystyla Rehd. It is both officinal and edible, chlorogenic acid is its primary functional component It has the functions of antagonizing pathogenic micro -organism, antivirus, declining fever, hoisting leucocyte, protecting liver, adjusting immune function, antagonizing tumour, lowering blood—lipid, scavenging oxygen free radicals and so on.Flos Lonicerae was used as material in our experiment, the components of seed, the content of chlorogeic acid and flavone in stem, leaf, flower, seed of Flos Lonicerae, extraction, separation and purification and functional properties of chlorogenic acid in flower of Flos Lonicerae were studied. The optimized conditions for the extraction and purification of chiorogenic acid in flowers of Flos Lonicerae were obtained. The results are as follows:1. The nutritional components, amino acid and trace elements of Flos Lonicerae seeds were analyzed. The results showed that the Flos Lonicerae seed contains25.82% oil, 23.78%protein, 23.97% carbohydrate, 13.84% moisture and 6.95% ash, including all kinds of essential amino acid. The seed oil contains unsaturated fatty acids, the content of unsaturated fatty acids was 85.28%.The physicochemical index of Flos Lonicerae seed oil is as follows: d420 0.9158, refraction index n201.4796, saponification value (SV)180.31mgKOH/g, acid value 2.55 mgKOH/g.2. The contents of chlorogeic acid and flavone in the material were measured with the traditional Soxhlet extraction method. The results showed that the content of chlorogenic acid in stem, leaf, flower, and seed was 6.33%, 4.34%, 3.47% and 0.34% separatively. The content of flavone in stem, leaf, flower, and seed was35.64mg/g, 29.51 mg/g, 17.40 mg/g and 10.50 mg/g separatively.3. The process on extraction and separation of chlorogenic acid from Flos Lonicerae flowers was studied in the paper. The max absorption wave length of chlorogenic acid was determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometer, it showed that its max absorption wave length was 333nm. Main factors influencing the extraction of chlorogenic acid from the flowers of Flos Lonicerae were studied by single factor and orthogonal experiments as well as multiple analysis. The results showed that the determination method of ultraviolet spectrophotometer was acute, precise and exact. The optimized conditions for the extraction of chlorogenic acid in flowers of Flos Lonicerae were obtained: the whole flowers were extracted by 70% ethanol at 70℃ for 4.5h with a ratio (material...
