In our country coal is the main energy, it plays an important role in national economics construction. But recently, coal mine accidents repeatedly take place. According to the investigation, this is awfully related to the personnel's poor quality and the manager's dim consciousness of security and law. How to improve the staff's quality and their safety consciousness is a problem that urgently needs solving. The problem is studied in the thesis.The thesis consists of six parts.In the first part, the thesis analyses the safety production and security training situation of coal mines, puts forward an argument that modern education technology can improve the quality and efficiency of coal mine security training, elaborates the research methods.The second part, taking the coal mine security training of Gansu province as an example, investigates the trainer, trainee and training environment, finds out the problems that exist in the present coal mine security training of Gansu province.In the third part, the thesis accounts for the organization, training system, training object and training content of the present coal mine security training our country.In the fourth part, according to the peculiarity, superiority and existing education technology theory of the modern education technology, the thesis puts forward several teaching patterns that can improve the effect of the training by using modern education technology. These patterns are: scene—question pattern, enlighten—lecture pattern , study independently—coach pattern and medium—network pattern. At the same time, the above patterns are explained from such respects as pattern construction , theory foundation, practice and their applied conditions etc.The fifth part, taking the training class that was held in Gansu coal industry school in September of 2004 as the experiment class, and the class that was held in Gansu Huating in January of 2005 as the compared class. The author experiments the raised argument and analyses the experimental data.In the last part, according to the experiment data , the paper reaches a conclusion that the training using modern education technology can improve its effects. Because coal mine accidents can not thoroughly be stopped by only depending on security training, the thesis also puts forward some suggestions that can reduce the accidents.
