Study On Management And Dispose Strategies Of Hazardous Waste In Ningbo City

Hazardous waste has become one of the most difficult environmental problems. Based on the detail analysis of domestic and foreign advanced hazardous waste management experience and disposal technologies, this paper presented the management system and disposal strategy in Ningbo using systematic analysis method in different level.According to the hazardous waste management, management principles including systemic management, economic incentive, combination the state and social management, sustainable development, priority in some aspects, disposal nearby and public participant, except for the principles of management during the whole process and volume reduction, resource utilization and treatment in a sound manner. Strict regulations should be adopted in the hazardous waste management. At the same time, execution should be strengthened in compliance with the related regulations.According to the disposal strategy of hazardous waste, appropriate assessment system should be established based on the analysis of domestic and foreign development trend for the hazardous waste treatment. International cooperation and communications should be carried out for the introduction, digestion and adoption of advanced and practical technologies. Technical standards and guidance should be established to regulate the markets for hazardous treatment and disposal.A case study on the medical waste management and disposal strategies is presented at the end of this paper.
