As special equipment, the safety of piping is paid more and more attention. Because the connecting of piping is very complex and the direction of piping differs in thousands ways, establishing a reasonable simplized stress analysis model for the inspected piping system is a effective way to improve the efficiency of inspecting and to assess the piping system inspected correctly. In this paper, based on studying the case of piping stress analysis presently, a new simplized model of piping stress analysis was introduced with orthogonal designing and CAESAR â…¡software, which is used most widely in piping stress analysis field in the world.The importance of the factors affecting the stress of the piping selected from a piping system is analyzed with orthogonal designing. The results obtained through simple analysis and variance analysis show that the interval of supports and the number of supports are both very important. The effects of difference of pipe connecting on the stress of inspected piping, which is anchored at one end, is studied, and some simplized rules on the inspected piping are obtained. Then simplized method on any piping inspected is confered according to the above rules and approved by several examples. The error between the stresses computed from simplized piping stress analysis model and CEASAR II software respectively is accepted.
