Computerized knitting machine is high technology equipment in knitting industry, which integrates Computer Numerical Control (CNC), electron technology, motor driver technoloty, mechanical design and knitting process. Computerized knitting machine can knit a lot of complex tissue, which cannot be done by manual knitting machine. Two aspect of knowledge are necessary for successful control system software. Knowing about the trait of knitting industry the process of knitting is the first point, and using related control theory, for example, CNC, electron technology, motor driver technoloty, is the second. Therefore, the main task of the dissertation is to develop the control system software of computerized knitting machine based on the control theory and knitting process.One of the emphases of the disseratation is research of the knitting process; the other is analysis and design of control system of computerized knitting machine based on Objected-Oriented method.Chapter 1 is the introduction of the dissertation. First, this chapter introduces the knitting industry, and the development of computerized knitting machine outside and inside currently. Second, some related knowledge background is stated. Finally, the main task of the dissertation is put forward according to the above the content.Chapter 2 is the development of knitting process of computerized knitting machine. This chapter introduces the structure of computerized knitting machine firstly. Secondly the form basal tissue of knitgoods is stated. Thirdly the theory and process of needle selection is presented. Finally, the moving track of selected needle in the cam is introduced, which effects the quality of the knitgoods directly.Chapter 3 is system analysis of computerized knitting machine. The emphasis of the chapter is put on the hardware structure, function requirement analysis and software level analysis of control system of computerized of knitting machine.Chapter 4 is software programming of computerized knitting machine based on Objected-Oriented language. From the point view of O-O technology, the chapter states the object modeling, script programming, and function module of control system of computerized knitting machine. Finally the interface of the software is presented.Chapter 5 is the key technology of control system of computerized knitting machine. Some key technology is presented in the chapter, which includes needle selection, machine head position control, the communication of thread and multimedia timer technology.Chapter 6 is the test and maintenance of software of computerized knitting machine. The chapter introduces the basal method of test and maintenance of software.The summary of dissertation and the development trend of computerized knitting machine are stated in the last chapter.
