Current situation features of urban greenbelt of Qingdao was felt out by Systemic investigation. TheSampling investigation method was used to study the Woody plants diversity of Qingdao park greenbelt including Woody plant composition, frequency analysis, plants abundance, diversity index of Shannon-Wienner and evenness index.The results showed that:1 There were 161 Woody plants (cultivars) belonging to 52 families and 108 genus recorded in this study by Sampling investigation in Qingdao park greenbelt. It was main fomed by Rosaceae, Leguminosae,Oleaceae, Cupressaceae, Pinaceae, Magnoliaaceae and Aceraceae. These plants were used widely in northern area of China.2 There was great difference of Woody plants frequency among different park greenbelt of Qingdao by the investigation. Very fewer Woody plants frequency were relatively higher, such as Pinus thunbergii, Robina pseudoacacia, Celtis tetrandra, other most Woody plants frequency were very low.142 Woody plants frequency were less than 10 percent in 161 Woody plants of the investigation.The results showedthat some Woody plants repeated application in park greenbelt of Qingdao was very serious and some Woody plants application all showed relatively low.3 The average of Margalef index in sample communities of woody plants was 4.81, the higherwas 14.70, the lower was 1.24, had a very great distance; the Shannon-Wienner index was 2.77, the higher was3.99, the lower was1.75, had a less difference; The Pielou index was 0.87, the higher was0.96, the lower was 0.77, had a great distance.The Sampling investigation showed that the Woody plants of urban green space were few and the evenness was slightly higher.4 The diffrence of Woody plants diversity in different park greenbelt of Qingdao was very large, the higher was Zhongshan park, the lower wasYandun park. The diversity index of Woody plants communities was low in A Class of park to the B Class of park.5 The Woody plants distribution of green space was very imbalanced in Qingdao. Research showed that most rich Woody plants of urban green space was in the southern area of Qingdao.Gap of different parts shouled be reduced to make Landscape Woody plants Community of Qingdao beautiful and sustainable in the future.
