Mangrove ecosystem is the one of the five types of ecological diversity. Mangrove vegetation plays an important role in maintaining its environmental complexity and affecting the diversith and distribution of animals related to mangrove's ecological system. Destruction of mangrove would reduce the diversity of macrobenthic fauna community. At the same time, macrobenthic fauna constructed an important part in the mangrove ecological system. So the community structure can use for us to recognize mangrove's environmental characteristics and to predict mangrove environmental quality. To provide zoobenthic ecological basic for the mangrove ecological restoration, protection, exploitation and management, we are need to recognize the different of macrofauna community.Macrobenthic fauna communities in the wetland at the Qch1, Qch2, Qch3, Qch4 in the Luoyangjiang Mangrove Nature Reserve located along coastal areas of the Quanzhou Bay. The aspects such as the spatial zonation of macrobrnthic fauna affected by mangrove community were studied. The main research results were as follows:(1) One hundred and twenty-four species of macrobenthos were identified in the four seasons in the wetland of the Luoyangjiang mangrove reserve. There species compare in differernt ransects were: Qch4 > Qch3 > Qch2 > Qch1. The species had significant correlation with the organic matter.(2) The average biomass and density were 51.95 g/m~2 and 597 ind./ m~2 respectively. Affected by the ommunity of the macrobrnthicthat, the biomass and density in each ransect was quite different from others, but had no correlation with the environment factors.(3) The spatial zonation of macrobenthic fanua was studied with four transects vertical to the shoreline. Along the every transect, three faunal zones of the mangrove swamp could be divided from the high to low tide part, transect Qch1: Littoraria melanostoma—Littoraria articulate zone, Nephtys sp1.—Assiminea brevicula—Uca arcuata—Halcampa sp.zone, and Nephtys sp1.—Polydora sp.—Sinonovacula constricta; Transects of Qch2 and Qch3: Littoraria melanostoma—Littoraria articulate zone, Nephtys sp1.—Assiminea brevicula—Uca arcuata—Halcampa sp. zone, Nephtys sp1.—Prionospio sp.—Theora lata; Transect Qch4: Littoraria melanostoma zone, Nephtys sp1.—Heteromastus sp.—Assiminea brevicula—Uca arcuata zone and Nephtys sp1.—Prionospio sp.—Theora lata. These groups corresponded to the different vegetation types of the mangrove swamp. In summary, our observations indicate that the spatial zonation of the macrobenthic fauna was mainly affected by characteris of the mangrove community and the tidal line.(4) The species, average density, average biomass and the dominant species of the Luoyangjiang mangrove nature reserve were quite different from other mangrove ecosystems. The different of the environment factors such as concents of organic matter, sand and slit affected the community of the macrobrnthic. The sampling method and the levels of species were also contributed to that.
