Water is the important basis for the human living and social development, it is not only the necessary strategic resources of People' s living and economic society, but also is the basic element of the ecological environment. With the development of the social, economic, the supply and demand of the water Resources has become increasingly conspicuous, water resources becomes the useful scarce resources. To resolve the problem of the crisis of water Resources has one of the strategic issues around the world.Songyuan is located in Songnen Plain which is in the middle-west of Jilin Province. The groundwater resources of this district was developed early, and the utilization ratio is low, it is mainly used as industrial water, agricultural irrigation water and living water. With development of the industry and agriculture and the people's living standard, the production of the groundwater has been also increased year by year, which leads to the unbalance between supply and demand of the partial groundwater resources. However the random and irregular exploitation can not meet the water demand of the industry, agriculture and life, and the concomitant problems of water quality and environment also restrict the constant and stable development of economy in the research district. So it is extremely urgent to give scientific evaluation on and make reasonable use of the ground water resources in Ningjiang District, Songyuan City.The article focuses on the current situation of the water resources in Ningjiang District of Songyuan City. In view of the urgency and importance of water resources problems in research district, we firstly select the data about the geology, hydrogeology, environmental geology and hydrology in this area, and then do some survey about the exploration conditions, analyze and research the hydrological conditions and underground water supply, stress flow and drainage conditions, and also the underground water quality, water chemical features.There are two types of water in this district, which are pore-space water and debris fissure pore water. The pore-space water is divided into pore phreatic water and pore confined water, which are widely distributed and bear large amount of water. It is generally 1000-3000m3/d and the main mining layer. The watery base of debris fissure pore confined water is 1000-3000m3/d or more than 3000m3/d. Due to the poor supply conditions, and the extreme water exploration in Xinmin water head, there is water depression cone. Because of the evironment protection disadvantage, there are serious water contamination problems and environmental geological problems such as salinization, water and soil loss,etc.In order to reflect the underground water quality synthetically, we apply attached note scoring method and Fuzzy Mathematics method to evaluate the quality of pore-space phreatic water and confined water. The result shows that the level of most of the Quaternary phreatic water which located in BODu and HuaQia farm area isⅣ, except the level V water of Liujiazi in DaWa Town,MaoDu Station Town and Ningjiang District which distributed partly. It is not suitable potable water. And the most of the rest is the levelⅠ-Ⅲwater. It is applicable to a variety of purposes for using. while the Tertiary confined water is better, but the Fe and N02-in groundwater slightly exceeds the standard because of individual influnce in some respective regions. in Ningjiang District of Songhua River region, the Ammonia and Nitrogen in the water is severely out of limits, which exceed 60 times in the normal-water period. The volatile phenol exceeds one time beyond the standard.We re-calculated and evaluated the supply resources and exploitation potential of the groundwater, and made plan of the development and utilization of the groundwater in the future. A large number of Meteorology and Hydrology, hydro-geological information, dynamic monitoring data and water resources exploitation practice provide the ideal parameters, and improve the calculation accuracy and scientific evaluation.The groundwater recharge resource is 12333.68×104m3/a. of which: natural supply resources is 9519.15×104m3/a, recharge of paddy field infiltration is 1314.29×104m3/a, the supply from rivers under the mining conditions is 1500.24×104m3/a. The total underground water exploration is 12531.31×104m3/a, of which:Quaternary phreatic water and confined water is 9072.81×104m3/a, Tertiary confined water resources for the exploitation is 3458.50×104m3/a. Groundwater storage resources is 154884.02×104m3/a, in which Quaternary water resources storage is 119038.83×104m3/a.According to current situation and the evaluation results of groundwater resources, we divide some regions due to the potential of the underground water, they are programmed in accordance with the hydrological unit and sub administrative district respectively. The planning results show that, most area in this district has exploitation potentials, and the exploration amount can be increased slightly. Through the analysis of supply and demand, we know that: the remaining water in Hegu plain in 2008 is 3937.06×104m3/a, in which Maoduzhan lacks water 639.67×104m3/a; in 2015 is 3364.88×104m3/a, in which Maoduzhan lacks water 787.67×104m3/a; in 2020 is 3032.97×104m3/a, in which Maoduzhan lacks water 856.20×104m3/a. The remaining water in micro cramping downland in 2008 is 1796.35×104m3/a, in which the Ningjiang Area lacks water 395.32×104m3/a; in 2015 is 1475.32×104m3/a, in which the Ningjiang Area lacks water 640.64×104m3/a; in 2020 is 1257.49×104m3/a, in which the Ningjiang Area lacks water 1416.81×104m3/a. For dry districts,it needs leading in the surface water.At last, we studied the adverse environmental and hydrological problems caused by groundwater exploration, and the change regular pattern of the water quality, water quantity and water level.In this article, we give reasonable advice on protection measures with pertinence.The large amount of information collected in this research and the final analysis results provides an objective and precise demonstration of the ground water resources in this district, which provide the basis for the ground water resources in Ningjiang District, Songyuan City and the sustainable development of the social economy, so it has significant meanings.
