The establishment of Dynamic monitoring system for traditional Chinese medicine resources survey is the urgent need for modernization of traditional Chinese medicine and the key technologies, but also is the need to achieve the sustainable use of traditional Chinese medicine resources and biodiversity conservation. The author explore to establish a dynamic monitoring system based on traditional survey methodology combined with introduced "3S" technology, to form a scientific investigation method by modern information technology, so as to promote biodiversity conservation and the sustainable development of Chinese medicine industry. In this paper, Drynaria roosii as the sample for traditional Chinese medicine resources on building a dynamic monitoring system of the techniques has been studied. D. roosii is one of the original plants of Gu Sui Bu, a epiphytic ferns , the herbal medicine mainly come from the wild. However, due to Drynaria roosii is a kind of epiphytic fern, its reserves of wild resources is difficult to carry out the investigation, result in the status of unable to assess Drynaria resources, and has becomes a technical bottleneck for its development and utilization. To achieve Drynaria resources sustainable use, we need to establish effective technical means to conduct an investigation for the Drynaria existing resources. In this paper, based on various traditional methods of in research to investigate resources, select the method of sampling survey combine with the "3S" (GPS, RS, GIS) technology to investigate D.roosii, explore the establishment the dynamic monitoring system of Chinese medicine for epiphytic medicinal plants. We selected a typical distribution of Drynaria in Hubei Qingjiang River area and its tributaries as the study area, fieldwork carried out twice extracted Drynaria habitats and the establishment of epiphytic Drynaria to the characteristics of remote sensing image interpretation, the use of fieldwork in the remote sensing image on the initial extraction of spectral features in the region Drynaria the distribution pattern; On this basis further precise analysis of the distribution Drynaria by the application of Chinese herbal origin analysis of the suitability of geographic information systems (TCMGIS) and buffer streams. Its specific technical route is as follows: First,to the all areas of research, carried out field investigations to obtain data on 118 quadrats, and using the Global Positioning System (GPS) positioning the actual sampling point location, access to habitat Drynaria and spectral characteristics; followed by experimental plots of remote sensing images to correct for radiation, sub-district choice, band combinations, geometric correction, image enhancement, such as processing, the use of fieldwork in the remote sensing image interpretation of the spectral characteristics of the initial distribution of Drynaria; and then, according to Drynaria Application of fern habitats do TCMGIS system suitability analysis, and further refinement of the distribution of Drynaria region, based on the Drynaria growth specific environment using Arc / GIS and its tributaries do Qingjiang Basin analysis of the buffer zone and the area above interpretation of remote sensing image analysis results superimposed to determine district Drynaria experimental distribution of remote sensing images (see large wall charts); Finally, the results of the study is to validate the field. The work samples in the study area a total of 209 validation points, 177 points, and remote sensing images with the extracted points, 84.6 percent read accuracy. In view of this, a sample survey and the "3S" technology combining the resources used in the investigation Drynaria is feasible. The methodology establishment for the resources Drynaria dynamic monitoring system explored the "3S" technology in the investigation Drynaria the feasibility, which lays the foundation of the resource survey of the plant across the country in future, and provided monitoring methodology and technology platform for traditional Chinese medicine which exists technical bottlenecks in resources survey such as epiphytic plant and wild plant resources of the reserves and dynamic monitoring.
