With the development of economy, the increacing urban population and the fastincreasing urbanization. The relevant departments urgent to master all kinds ofinformation about the city which are used to provide effective guidance for urbanplanning and construction. Through traditional visual interpretation of remote sensingimages to get the information about the city has failed to meet the information needs.Various computer automatic interpretation of remote sensing images of newtechnologies is studying along with that.In this paper, remote sensing technology applied to monitoring dynamic urbanplanning are achieved by both ERDAS and ENVI platforms. This thesis makes use ofERDAS to deal with the video datas from2010to2012. I did preprocessing operationsof wave bands combination, geometric correction, images mosaic, image cropping andimage fusion to the datas. Basically achieved a good effect in the pretreatment, and itlaid a foundation for extracting the change information in the future.ENVI software areused to extract changes in information,including the use of unclassification comparitivemethod to analyses the main components; the use of unsupervised classification methodto sort the information; taking advantage of the confusion matrix to evaluate theaccuracy of the classified information and the use of Change Detection Statistics tool tomake a comparison of the classified information so as to extract the changedinformation; classify using unsupervised classification. Considered the advantages anddisadvantages of unclassification comparitive method and classified comparison methodwhen extract the change information,if we want to achieve the effect of this paper, weneed to combine the two ways in order to enhance the classification accuracy of groundobjects. The overall classification accuracy obtained in the research is about80%, whichachieves a more accurate classification purposes. Using the Change classificationStatistics tool to deal with classified two period video, finally achieve the land usingtransfer matrix during the period.Throught this researching process, I have got some achievements both forpreprocessing the images and extracting the change information. I obtained thechanging information in Wan zhou experimental District from2010to2012, includingthe housing, water, roads, vegetations and other used land. The data shows that housingand roads in WanZhou District are14.03km2and2.53km2respectively by2010and then became14.23km2and2.73km2respectively by2012. The vegetation and other used landare3.44km2and16.21km2respectively by2010and then became3.34km2and15.91km2respectively by2012. The water area has not changed. This suggests thaturbanization and population growth in WanZhou District promote the scale of urbanhousing and the construction of infrastructures. Datas from these studies will be thesupport for the relevant implement departments and decision-making departments inWanZhou District.
