Under the condition of informationnalization warfare, high-tech are widely used in the military field, battlefield environment become complex and intense confrontation happened in the area of militrary commanding. Command center and essential computer system become important attack objectives of both sides. Thus, get full use of the viability and effectiveness of command center and computer become the focus of mutual concern.Field command post is the headquarter in wartime. It is the core of the battlefield combat command. The choose of field command position related to the viability and effectiveness of field command post. The traditional decision-making method of our commander to choose headquarter is incompatible with the operational requirement that under the condition of information technology. Therefore, this paper study the siting of field command post is of great significance because it will give full play to command effectiveness, improve the timeliness requirements and meet the needs of wartime commanding.This paper study on the basis of the deploy of field command post under the informationalized warefare and research on the characteristics of siting under the requirement of scientific, rational and rapid deploy and aim to improve the efficiency and viability of the command as a starting point. First, this paper introduced the classification of command structure and its composition, and principles and features of command post siting. Second, different models of each combat stage are made on the baisis of analysing the factors, siting principles and characteristics that related to the field command post location.They are combact preparing stage and fighting stage siting modules. Next, this paper evaluate and analyse these two models and use genetic algorithm and related toolbox to solve the siting problem. This method help commander save time when choose the position of command post. Then through the solution examples, this paper further verify the validity of the two moduels and correctness of genetic algorithm.
