The Ebinur lake wetland is located in the northwest of XinJiang,it is the most representative of the temperate zone wetlands in arid desert ecosystems,it has the function of regulation climate,environmental protection and regional ecology recovery etc, in a ward the ebinur lake wetland plays an important role in XinJiang.This paper based on the desert species communities of ebinur lake wetland,applying quatrat methods, used the methods of correlation coefficients,cluster analysis and regression analysis,analyzed the communities plants composition,flora,vegetation life type,ecological characteristics,community classification,community species diversity,relationship between diversity and soil factors,interspecific relationship.Objective to provide scientific basis for the ebinur lake wetland biodiversity protection and sustainable utilization,and for the wildlife habitat biodiversity. The results were as follows:Based on the plant species statistics in ebinur lake wetland,it was known that there was 1 species of fern,which belonged to 1 genera and 1 famalies, There were 36 angiosperm species, they belonged to 35 genera and 13famalies, among the angiosperm, the dicotyledon is most, the specoes number were 31, they belonged to 30 genera,13 famalies. The main flora in ebinur lake wetland was Mediterranean-west to Central Asia, the Central Asia type and the temperate elements were significant too. The main life form were perennial herbs and desert shrub plants. The main plant types were desert xerophyte.Through the investigation on plant community quadrats and the community cluster, there were 15 plant communities in the study area. The perennial herb communities and the desert shrub communities were the dominant community types. In conclusion, the plant community species composition were less, low biodiversity,limited structure and coverage was the community characteristics.The study of relationship between soil paramaters and community diversity showed, that the major soil factors were soil pH value,soil organic matter,soluble total salt of soil and soil chloride, these factors had important influence to plant community diversity , and soil pH value was the most remarkable factors. There were some correlation between the soil factors and community diversity indexes, but the saliency was lower, and they were no Linear relationship.Through the sampling surveys in the ebinur lake wetland, in the 61 quatrats, there were 23 plant species with high frequency, they were the dominant plant in the community. There were 253 species pairs by 23 species among, The Spearman rank correlation test was the mainly method, and Pearson correlation test,X2 test used as mutual complementation, studied the interspecific relationship, the results showed that 8 pairs showed singnification positive interspecific association (α=0.01), 11 pairs showed positive interspecific association (α=0.05), 5 pairs showed negtive interspecific association, they were respectively account 3.16%,4.35%,1.98%. In the study area the interspecific association is not singnificant.
