The Research On Riparian Naturalness Evaluation And Close To Nature Restoration

Given it is an important buffer zone between water and land,the assessment and restoration of degraded riparian ecosystem is one of the important issues in restoration ecology and watershed ecology.Take the assessment of riparian naturalness as research of the mechanism of degradation process both in structure and function,the estimation about the degree of degradation provide the basis for utilization,protection and management.On the basement of studying evaluation and restoration in the riparian zone at home and abroad,this paper assess the naturalness of riparian zone in Dalian on the base of plentiful field data.The influencing factors of its naturalness are analyzed and the impact of different land use patterns on the natural riparian zone is also discussed.The follow conclusion provides technical support for restoration and reconstruction of degraded riparian.(1) The construction of evaluation index system.On the base of the feature of riparian zone,the comprehensive assessment includes of 3 aspects,13 factors of structure, vegetation and landscape 3 aspects.And the hierarchy-classification method has been applied.The near-natural degrees of riparian zone ecosystem can be divided into four grades:â… natural grade;â…¡near-natural grade;â…¢degraded natural grade;â…¥complete man-made grade.(2) Evaluation of the riparian in Dalian.Based on the investigation,it assesses naturalness of riparian on 6 rivers in Dalian.The results show that the proportion of the four grades type of 162 riparian sections is 0%,12.35%,84.57%,3.09%.It shows that the extent of riparian naturalness in Dalian is generally at low-level.(3) Land use patterns and riparian naturalness.The investigation shows that the average SRN(the comprehensive assessment score of riparian naturalness) of water conservation forest is 3.43,the highest in 8 land-use patterns in Dalian riparian,and the lowest type is fish ponds,and the average SRN is 2.26.(4) The mode of riparian close-to-nature restoration.Based on the evaluation and analysis,5 ecological riparian forest modes are raised.The riparian forest mode include ecological conservation mode,ecological defend mode,ecological economy mode, ecological tour mode and ecological culture mode.
