Nowadays human society is confronted with the austere challenge of rapid inflation of population, serious shortage of resource and increasingly deterioration of environment day by day. Geological disaster is one of the main natural disasters, it distributes throughout the country widely. The goal of risk evaluation on geological disaster is obtaining which of the disaster will occurred first, through the present geological phenomenon and considered many kinds of influence factors. It might help the concerned department to obtain the appraise result of geological disaster conveniently, provide catastrophic measure for forecast, reduction and saving, and it has the important significance to the urban construction and development. The paper focus on current situation of geological calamity and easily-occurring degreeswidely adopt regular survey methods including geological, drilling and testing , actively introduce GIS, GPS, RS and computer information process technology. The advantages of geological remote-sensing technology (such as satellite photography, areo-photography and airborne infrared device ) are adopted, which character open views, large information and high-accurate location as well as high efficient with lower cost of GPS. The first hand information is fully used and second development of information is conducted in order to strengthen comprehensive analysis ability. Based on the identifications of geological calamity and type of environmental geological issue, their features, distribution pattern, causes and damages, the regularity is summarized, scientific classification and current assessment, including risk assessment and trend forecast, are conducted in order to suggest prevention and treatment countermeasures.
