Some geological disasters, such as the landslide, the avalanche, the debris flow, are regarded as natural disasters that can lead to the loss of people's life and property. Geological disaster frequently happens in our country, along with the increase of human's activity, the frequency and the intensity of the geological disaster as well as the loss of people's life and property are getting bigger and bigger. Since the 1990s, there are many studies on the mechanism of the landslide and other geological disasters, but the development of the research on the distribution rule of the regional geological disaster is quite slow in home. Exploring a research method to form a set of scientifically, complete and practical distribution rule of the regional geological disaster, and using it to carry on the geological disaster forecast and the emergency countermeasure research, all of these have a very vital significance to prevent the regional geological disaster.This paper takes the risk district appraisal of Mt. Nan scenic spot's geology disaster as the object of study, which is in Chongqing; and takes the rich scene investigation materials as the foundation, has a deep research on each kind of factor that influence the occurrence of geology disaster, analyzes the distribution of geology disaster and the relations of various factors comprehensively, explores the method of determining the regional-geological disaster's risk.In this paper ,the information judgment method has been selected to apply in the risk appraisal district of geological disaster, and then this method has been optimized, finally a set of technical routes and work flows about the risk district forecast of regional-geological disaster have been established.The pregnant disaster factor and the disaster factor have been determined as the appraisal factor that can be used to appraisal and study the geological disaster's risky district of the research area. The second-level factors, such as the slope, the formation lithology combination, the geologic structure, the stack thickness, the ground water condition, the human project activity and so on, have been determined on the base of the pregnant disaster factor. By using the expert system method together with the AHP analytic hierarchy process, the appraisal factor's condition value and the weighting factor have determined. According to the information judgment method, the model equation of the risky district evaluation has been established, and realized the grid chart superimposition of each appraisal factor on the GIS software, then obtained the synthetic evaluation value chart; finally the synthetic evaluation value has been divided into four sections, correspondingly the geological disaster's risky rank has been determined and the forecast of the geological disaster's growth tendency has also been done.In the foundation of the research of the prevention engineering technology which is suitable to the research area, the geological disaster's emergency countermeasure research of the Mt. Nan scenic spot has been done, and provided the reference for the research area's disaster prevention disaster reduction plan and the decision-making.
