According to the disturbance status of Zhalong Wetland, we had classified four regions were: severe disturbance intensity, intermediate disturbance intensity, light disturbance intensity and non-disturbance intensity.Field surveys were conducted in the Zhalong Wetland from April to May in 2006 and 2007. The results shows that there are 54 avian species, belonging to 20genera, 7 families, 21 species of Iosmopolitan, and 33 species of Palaearctic realm,36 species of summer breeders, 9 species of migrants and 9 of residents among them. The significance testing results of the avian community composition characteristics index among 4 areas, showed that different index of 4 areas have different impacts on the human disturbance intensity. Biomass in the different areas had the largest significance(P<0.05), there was significant relationgship between the avian community with the intensity of human disturbance. The significance of species richness had taken second place(P < 0.05).The Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou evenness index was not evident significance among the 4 groups of the avian community, which had relatively less relationship with the intensity of human disturbance. The differences testing results for the avian community composition among the different habitat types with the 4 intensity showed that different habitats types have different impacts on the human disturbance intensity. The impact degrees are as following: reed marshes > sedge marshes >meadow grassland> lakes.
