Study On Landscape Pattern Changes Of The Yiluo River Basin Based On 3S Technology

Based on the theory of Landscape Ecology and"3S"technology, the thesis analyzed the landscape pattern dynamics and the driving mechanism in the Yiluo River basin from 1987 to 2008.By using the indexes of the landscape pattern: landscape diversity index, landscape dominance index, landscape fragmentation index, the thesis presents the dynamic change of basin spatial pattern from 1987 to 2008. The driving factors, such as, society politics, economy, technology, nature and culture were documented to largely explain landscape dynamic change in the Yiluo River Basin. The thesis is discussed from the following 5 parts:Part1: Briefly introduced the conception of landscape, landscape ecology , "3S"technology, and the progress of Landscape Ecology, landscape pattern changes.Part 2: Introduced the study area, natural and socio-economic situation, and the data source used in the thesis.Part3: This content is the main part of the thesis. By using characterization models of spatial pattern changes, the landscape pattern dynamic changes in Yiluo River Basin. Were analyzedPart 4: Discussed the driving mechanism of landscape pattern dynamic changes, and analyzed effect of landscape pattern changes , including natural factors and human factors.Part 5: Introduced the conception of landscape optimization,gave the specific optimization measures for the problem in study area.Part 6: The conclusions of the thesis were discussed.The results showed that, (1) from 1987 to 2008, landscape pattern changed dramatically, the greatest changes of the landscape pattern took place in 1995 and 2008. Non-irrigable cropland and forest was landscape matrix; in study area, construction land area increased faster, while agriculture land area decreased.(2) Nature factors and human factors ,such as, terrain factors,population factors and policy factors, had a great impact to landscape pattern changes. (3) Lastly, given the problems of study area, we made the optimization measures and regulative measures, for promoting harmony between human and nature.
