In addition, the IP method in the search for detection of groundwater and oil and natural gas can also play a role, and have achieved satisfactory results.New IP detection system (referred to as IP instrument) is in the ARM7 and uClinux hardware and software based on the. Traditional IP transmitter apparatus, receiver using separate, bulky, inconvenient to carry. Traditional compared to the IP instrument, the new set of IP instrument has the following advantages: 1) transmitter and receiver will be integrated into a single instrument; 2) small size, easy to carry; 3) more accurate data collection; 4) lower-power systems; 5) a greater battery capacity; 6) Human-Computer Interaction simple and friendly interface, easy to operate.The instrument set of IP hardware and software is divided into two parts: the hardware is based on ARM7-based hardware developed by the main control unit, transmitter unit, receiver unit, power supply circuit, such as part of package PCB equipment from four components: 1) system control unit circuit board: on-board integrated ARM7——S3C44B0X, Boot Flash Memory, SDRAM, Nand Flash Memory, S3C44B0X control the entire system of communication with the transmitter to control the receiver to complete data acquisition, as well as USB, keyboard, LCD, external device, such as network port circuit; 2) transmitter circuit board IPM: Integrated on-board IPM——PM10RSH120, isolation amplifiers, signal processing circuit, IPM through signal processing to export current signal; 3) receiver analog board: on-board integrated 24-bit programmable gain A / D conversion chip CS5532, D / A Converter AD5660, 50Hz notch circuit, such as low-pass filter circuit, receive Magnetotelluric signal and potential data;4) Power Supply Motherboard: integrated control chip board, IPM, such as power supply circuits required. This thesis studies the design of hardware, software, part of that whole set of equipment for convenience only and do a brief introduction. System software using small size, stability, and good portability uClinux embedded operating system, code using C language. Completed a kernel driver and related application development, human-computer interaction can be achieved.In this thesis, the use of Altium Designer software drawing circuit schematics, PCB system board assembly into a machine, and collected a number of field tests. Test data show that the correct equipment to collect potential information, the basic meet the design requirements.
