The development of spatial information visualization technology provides a new method for geoscience research and opens up a new research field for solving various geological problems.How to instant access to three-dimensional visualization of geological information through the network in the Web, In this paper, this topic was explored and researched.This paper firstly analyzes the Manifestations of the geological information,which is according to the results of the project of Municipal Science and Technology Commission named'The Research on the Key Technologies of 3D Visualization of City Geological Information'and is being researched, combines the existing geological spatial database.Then expounds the modeling methods of the geological data, The discrete geological information data could be constructed to three-dimensional model of the geological strata through interpolation algorithm, At the same time, put forward the unified modeling methods that to show the model of above and below ground at one time . Thirdly introduce the core technology of Web to realize Three-dimensional visualization of stratum data, 3D XML and XML is the same as data exchange document in the network, the Web server create data files 3DXML document dynamically according to the request data of users , The client browser download and display the documents, allowing the interactive operation of users .Finally, the author gives a solution to achieve data visualization in Web according to the exploration and practice.The author used the object-oriented analysis method to analyze the the problems of various stages of analysis , explore a way to achieve the visualization of data in Web3D and construct such a prototype of system platform finally. The collection and processing of geological data is based on the original methods and spatial database , as the expansion system of existing systems,modeling algorithm theory results from the production of their predecessors.
