The exploration of virtual reality technology and the simulation of marine natural scenes are hot issues today.The research and implementation of ocean ocean current visualization in virtual reality system is mainly aimed at three aspects in the simulation of ocean currents in virtual reality: data The water surface,lighting rendering and floating objects were studied.The main results of the thesis are as follows:(1)Several commonly used sea surface modeling methods are studied,and the applicable scope of different modeling methods is analyzed and compared.The wave model based on the dynamic model is difficult to simulate the waves in real time because there are a large number of nonlinear equations that need to be solved.The modeling method based on geometric modeling is not realistic because the artificial wave is set to be similar in the current situation by artificially setting the attribute parameters of the wave,which makes it easy to see the artificial trace.The modeling method based on the wave spectrum is also weaker because the simulated ocean waves generally select a similar wave spectrum to be linearly superimposed.For particle system-based methods,it also has complex problems,such as whether the particle model is properly constructed and the number of particles is appropriate.If the structure is too simple and the number is too small,the authenticity of seawater will be greatly reduced;Too complicated.With a large number,the amount of calculation will increase and the real-time rendering will decrease.This paper uses data-driven water surface generation,compares the effects of data-driven and texture modeling,and compares the six modeling methods from four aspects.The experimental results show that the driven Gerstner Wave wave model is more realistic for the visualization of ocean currents.Real-time and effectiveness.(2)The basic knowledge of illumination,illumination model and HDR technology are studied.In this paper,HDR rendering is applied in Unreal Engine.By comparing experimental results and performance analysis,it is shown that HDR effects are realized in the visualization of ocean currents in virtual reality system.The ocean ocean current rendering effect proves that the HDR effects on the Unreal Engine platform make the picture more realistic.(3)The influence factors of the environment and the self-influence of the floating posture of the floating object in the ocean scene are studied.In this paper,the floating object is defined as a rectangular parallelepiped and an ellipse,and the forces received by the single point mode,the manual point mode and the automatic point mode are calculated.This makes the study of floating debris on the sea more comprehensive.And joined the floating things todrive,truly achieve a combination of virtual and real.
