It's an important research field to determine the attitude of carriers using measured carrier phase of Global Positioning System (GPS).Real-time attitude determination is derived from extremely precise differential carrier phase measurements among multiple GPS antennas mounted on the vehicle. This thesis investigates the attitude determination using carrier phase differencing technique with an emphasis on theoretical aspects and algorithms. The implementation of determination system is also discussed.In the stage of attitude determination with carrier phase, integer ambiguity resolution is the key skill here. Through studying algorithm of integer ambiguity, comparisoning and analyzing the popular algorithm, the method of QR decomposition algorithm does not need to identify the floating resolution of the ambiguity in advancee, and can build the smaller search space. Then use the restrictions, such as length of baseline or integrity of ambiguity or RATIO inspection ,to examine the solution of search space. This method can speed up the resolution,save searching time, enhance the rate of getting right ambiguity,so the QR decomposition algorithm is introduced.At last a GPS OEM boards based attitude determination system scheme is complete. In order to finish the software of attitude determination system,Visual C++ 6.0 basing on dialogue mode and MSComm controller are used,the Matcom is also applied to raise the coding rate,which can accomplish programming mixed matlab and VC.The static experiment could testify that the QR decomposition algorithm is right.
