Planning And Establishment Of Platform For Non-human Primates Experimental And Technical Services In Fujian

Non-human Primates is the closest human relatives whose organizational structure and physiological functions are similar to the human beings. It is an ideal laboratory animal model for the researches of human reproductive physiology, reproductive health, life medicine and pre-clinical studies of new drugs. As a significant part of animal experiments, Non-human primates experiment plays an indispensable role in the fields of biomedical and so on, which is the fundamental ensure on life science research and exploitation of medication, it is also meaningful on the subjects of the human healthy secure, optimizing the human living environment and so on.This paper takes the establishment of platform for Non-human Primates experimental and technical services as the object of research. On the base of the summarizing research articles relating with the Non-human primates resources and the development prospects of Non-human primates experiment, by combination with the actual works in non-human primates laboratory center of Fujian Population and Family Planning Science and Technology Research Institute, it proposes the guiding ideology, general goals and primary coverage of platform's establishment for Non-human primates experimental and technical services: Established the infrastructure and resources ensuring, set up the quality monitor service system, standardized production system, informationization management system, laboratory circulation and quality control system, database platform and so on, and then constituted the main planning of Fujian Non-human primates experimental and technical services platform. At the same time, linking to the actual works, this paper summarizes the possible problems of platform's establishment and the direction of the future development, and it provides the science basis for establishment of perfect non-human primates experimental and technical platform service system in the future.
