Wetland in the distribution of a wide range on the planet, is a surface interaction between the unique ecosystem, it is an important environment and natural biodiversity of the ecological landscape. Wetland ecosystem services include not only large water resources, agricultural products, aquatic products and mineral and other resources, resist flooding and regulating runoff, improve the climate, control system of pollution, beautify the environment and maintaining ecological balance, and other aspects of regional ecosystems have other irreplaceable role. So it is called "kidneys of the earth" ,"the cradle of life","the birthplace of civilization" and "species gene pool" ,And the forests, oceans tied together the world's three major ecosystems.Wetland is a unique ecosystem, it can provide a wide range of resources, if people's awareness of wetland ecosystems not enough the full, only according to their own needs to determine the wetland resources development and utilization, will be ignored or even destructed the other ecological functions and efficiency of wetland. Therefore, scientific and comprehensive evaluation of wetlands by the ecosystem services, not only for wetlands and their resources to provide the monitoring and research data, but also for urban wetlands in the planning and development of a reliable scientific basis to ensure that urban wetland and sustainable use of resources. Therefore, maintaining and preserving wetland ecosystem services the achievement of sustainable development is an important material foundation, which has become the current ecology and economics on the forefront of eco-lessons.In view of the current wetland ecosystem services and unreasonable use of one-sided understanding of the problem, the Wuhan City of wetland status and the characteristics of systems analysis, mainly from the urban wetland in the service functions of a comprehensive evaluation of the different assessment price approach, a comprehensive understanding of urban wetland on the need for sustainable urban development, and give full play to urban wetland ecosystem integration of ecological and environmental services, enhance the wetland ecosystem use efficiency, seek to achieve urban wetland ecosystem integrated services in the best economic development model, on how to build urban wetland development of specific measures and to seek the sustainable development of cities.
