This paper relies on the project of "Spatial Analysis of Lantsang International River's Water Resource Environment Platform",based on the spatial data,combining statistic analysis methods with spatial analysis methods,formed the feasible statistic and spatial analysis methods of Lantsang basin's important geographical elements, revealed the spatial distributing rules of Lantsang basin's terrain,residents,traffic, stream nets and land cover,accordingly,provides the quantitative basis on Lantsang International River basin's sustainable development.This paper first extracted and analyzed lantsang basin's terrain ingredients: altitude,gradient and slope aspect,in order to form a general topographical awareness on the macro facets.Then,pursued distribution analysis on basin's resident,traffic,stream nets and land cover elements.On the important geographical elements' statistic facet,for the residents,mainly pursued classification analysis on altitude,gradient and slope aspect facets,drew to the commonly distributing rules. For the traffic and stream nets,mainly pursued statistic research according altitude ingredient distribution,drew to the spatial selectivity,meanwhile,pursued national highways',mainstream and anabranches' curvature analysis,so as to measure their developing status.For land cover,pursued land-use type statistic on different provinces which Lantsang basin flows,besides,pursued statistic research on land-use according altitude ingredient distribution,drew to the industrial configuration of different districts.On the synthetical analysis facet,applied neighboring point index method on measuring residents' spatial discrete degree,applied holistic spatial-related analysis on researching basin's population spatial aggregation.Besides, along the centerline of Lantsang mainstream and anabranches,pursued buffer analysis with residents layer,so as to realize planar information spatial analysis. Meanwhile,pursued overlay analysis on residents layer and land cover layer,drew to the relationship between them.
